4JCraft is a modified version of the Minecraft Console Legacy Edition, aimed at porting old Minecraft to different platforms (such as Linux, Android, Emscripten, etc.) and refactoring the codebase to improve organization and use modern C++ features.
# I LOVE YURI
Yuri (Japanese: 百合; lit. "lily"), also known by the wasei-eigo construction girls' love (ガールズラブ, gāruzu rabu), is a genre of Japanese media focusing on intimate relationships between female characters. While lesbian relationships are a commonly associated theme, the genre is also inclusive of works depicting emotional and spiritual relationships between women that are not necessarily romantic or sexual in nature. Yuri is most commonly associated with anime and manga, though the term has also been used to describe video games, light novels, and other forms of literature.

gotta rant for a while
this 4jcraft thing, it's so unprofessional, their codebase is extremely messy and each time i look at the devs.. i feel an urge to... combust.. you see, it all started when i asked the devs to work on squibblebob device 4000 support, and you know what they did?? they denied squibblebob device 4000 support because they were too busy spending time watching yuri, yes.. let's address the yuri problem first, yuri.. why is there so much girlkissing within the confines of the discord server, it's genuinely disturbing.. each time i scroll past them i can't resist saying "omgg.. me.." then i couldn't stop drooling.. another problem with 4jcraft is that.. i felt like that reddit post was true, i ACTUALLY have zero faith in 4jcraft, i looked at the renderer right? and i was in pain, suffering, i genuinely never felt so much anger.. so much.. pain.. HATE.. LET ME TELL YOU HOW I HATE... thirdly, 4jcraft really really doesn't know what dark humor is, yesterday, i said a really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really mean joke.. and they said "):", yeah.. thats it, they didn't even laugh at my jokes.. fourth, their pull request review process is just the lead dev saying "lgtm (i didn't read it i was watching yuri)" and then merging it at 3am with a commit message that is literally just "hehe :3". i opened their repo, i looked at the code, and i felt my neurons filing a class-action lawsuit against my eyes. every update is just "we fixed 1 bug and added herobrine..... AGAIN".. finally, i hope 4jcraft can take over this task and stop with the girlkissing because it actually triggers my lesbian senses. thank you for reading my awesome juiceydev ran
I have zero faith in 4jcraft for this task, and even if they do manage to get a working & playable port on linux I'd rather use a different fork (especially since I may contribute). 4jcraft's github repo is extremely unprofessional. There will be PRs merged with 80k lines of code altered and the PR description will just say something like "meow" or "mmm yummy." Not to mention most commit messages are just things like "skjdfhaufhafalkfjdashf".
There also doesn't seem like much organization or planning. Sort of just feels like the maintainer merges whatever PRs come in without really reviewing. So I'm wondering if there's a different project that is more professional/structured and perhaps created by actual developers?
Note: looking for efforts on making native linux ports, not windows builds running through wine/proton
I have full faith in 4jcraft for this task ❤️‍🩹
